1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aizen Academy website (aizenacademy.com) and any related services, including online registration, free trial booking, and career applications. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
These Terms are in addition to any other agreements you may have with Aizen Academy, including program enrollment terms and conditions agreed to during registration.
2. Use of the website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of the website.You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems; use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the website; transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful material; impersonate any person or entity; or use the website for any fraudulent or illegal purpose.
3. Registration and forms
When you submit information through our registration forms, free trial forms, or career application forms, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your contact information up to date.Aizen Academy reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration if we reasonably believe the information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent.
4. Program enrollment terms
The following terms apply to all program enrollments at Aizen Academy and are agreed to during the registration process.
4.1 Payment and fees
No placement is confirmed prior to payment. Monthly fees cover an average of four weekly classes per month (48 classes per year). The remaining four weeks of the year, Aizen Academy is closed for scheduled holidays (March break, first week of July, and two weeks during winter holidays). Exact holiday dates are published on our website each year. Payments are processed through direct debit unless otherwise arranged. Any cheques or pre-authorized debits returned NSF will incur a $25 service charge. Payments not received by the due date may incur additional late payment charges.
4.2 Withdrawals
One month's written notice, or payment of one month's fee in lieu of notice, is required for any withdrawals.
4.3 Refunds and absences
There are no discounts, refunds, or credits for missed classes or leaves of absence during the term of a course.
4.4 Assumption of risk and liability
While Aizen Academy maintains close supervision of all students, parents and guardians acknowledge that children may have occasional accidents during the course of normal activities. By enrolling, you release and hold harmless Aizen Academy Inc., its staff, and volunteers from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities for injuries to students that are not the result of direct negligence by staff.
4.5 Photographs and recordings
By completing registration, you grant permission to Aizen Academy Inc. and its program partners (UCMAS Canada Inc., i-Maths, iLEAP Club Inc., e² Young Engineers Ltd.) to use photographs and video recordings of your child taken at Aizen Academy or at events in which Aizen Academy students participate. These images may be used for promotional purposes in digital or print formats. No full name or address will be used in connection with these images unless explicitly authorized by the parent or guardian. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us in writing.
4.6 Accuracy of information
By submitting the enrollment form, the parent or guardian represents that all statements provided are correct and acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of the registration.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Aizen Academy website — including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and design elements — is the property of Aizen Academy Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.
6. Disclaimers
The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that the website content is complete, current, or error-free.The website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.Aizen Academy does not guarantee specific educational outcomes for any student enrolled in its programs.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aizen Academy Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or participation in our programs, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability.Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the website shall not exceed the amount you paid to Aizen Academy in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
